Description
What You’re Getting
This is the exact same DuPont Flashing Tape 9″ × 75 ft that we sell new for $66.99 — same roll, same specs, same DuPont warranty. The only difference: the outer packaging picked up dirt and grime during storage. The tape itself is factory-sealed, fully functional, and performs identically to a new roll.
You save $12.00 (18%) compared to our new price. If cosmetic packaging doesn’t matter on your jobsite — and it shouldn’t — this is the smarter buy.

Installation Notes
No primer needed on most substrates — clean, dry surface is all it takes. Primer is required on concrete, masonry, and stucco with mesh. Do not use as a through-wall flashing or over cap fasteners.
Works the same whether the packaging is pristine or dusty — once it’s on the wall, nobody knows the difference.
Coverage — How Far Does One Roll Go?
The 9″ width is built for sill pans: one roll covers approximately 15 window sills. If you’re doing full rough-opening flashing (head + sill), figure about 7-8 windows per roll.
For larger projects, call us at (832) 463-7946 for volume pricing on clearance inventory — quantities are limited.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the tape itself damaged?
No. The tape is factory-sealed inside. Only the outer packaging shows cosmetic wear from storage.
Does the DuPont warranty still apply?
Yes. This is genuine DuPont Flashing Tape with the same 10-year limited warranty as a new roll.
Why is it cheaper?
Cosmetic packaging only. We pass the savings to you instead of discarding perfectly good product.
Can I return it?
Clearance items are sold as-is. Contact us at sales@85builders.com with any questions before purchasing.
