Important: ZIP System Tape Is Not Interchangeable with DuPont
ZIP System Tape uses an acrylic adhesive engineered specifically for Huber ZIP sheathing panels. Using a different tape (like DuPont butyl) on ZIP sheathing voids the 30-year system warranty. If your project uses ZIP sheathing, this is the tape you need — no exceptions.

Installation Notes
J-roller is mandatory. ZIP System Tape uses acrylic adhesive that requires firm pressure to activate the bond. Roll every inch of tape after application — no exceptions.
Do not use as a substitute for ice & water barrier on roofs. This is a wall flashing tape designed for the ZIP System.
Coverage — How Far Does One Roll Go?

Factory-sealed and wider options

Is the tape itself damaged?
No. The tape is factory-sealed inside. Only the outer packaging shows cosmetic wear from storage.

Yes. This is genuine ZIP System Flashing Tape. When installed on ZIP sheathing per Huber’s instructions, the 30-year system warranty applies.
Why is it cheaper?
Cosmetic packaging only. We pass the savings to you instead of discarding perfectly good product.
